Herd Album
We have far too many females to feature all of them on our Herd Album, so we have selected what we consider to be our very best and have placed them below. We also have recently had most of our herd graded. Grading is scored on structural correctness, feet, udders, muscle, bone, and condition. The score range is from 1 – 10 , with 1 being extremely bad, 5 being good, and 10 being extremely good. Check out the grading scores listed with the other information for our animals.
Please contact us with any questions you might have about our females.
Grandmother of: 2004 EISF Grand Champion Jr. Heifer She is shown here at seventeen years old. We have found that nearly all of our best cows and bulls are her descendents. Although her EPD numbers are low, she consistently produced some of the best performing cattle in the breed. They are light birthweight, fast growing, highly efficient, easy fleshing, and fertile. Her sons, daughters, and granddaughters are now carrying on her legacy. She is the mother of the well known bulls, Lindale Bo Jangles and HD Maximus ET 11M. Lady stayed in our herd until she was 21 years old. She was still consistently producing good calves and being flushed for embryos when she died. She is one of the few cows that we have owned that had earned the right to die on our ranch and she will truly be missed. |
